All donations made through this website are voluntary. You are under no obligation to donate, and no goods or services are provided in exchange for a donation unless explicitly stated.
2. Use of Donations
Donations will be used to support the mission, operations, programs, and activities of MOFreePress, including but not limited to administrative costs, advocacy, content creation, and outreach, at our discretion unless otherwise specified.
3. No Refund Policy
All donations are final and non-refundable, except where required by law. Once a donation is processed, we are unable to issue refunds for any reason, including but not limited to accidental donations or dissatisfaction with how funds are used.
4. Tax Deductibility
Donations are not tax-deductible. Donors are responsible for consulting their own tax advisors regarding deductibility.
5. Donor Representations
By making a donation, you represent and warrant that: You are authorized to use the payment method provided. Your donation does not violate any applicable laws or regulations. You are donating using your own funds or funds you are legally authorized to use.
6. Payment Processing
Donations are processed through a third-party payment processor (e.g., Stripe, CashApp). We do not store your full credit card or banking information. Payment processing is subject to the processor’s own terms and privacy policies.
7. Privacy
We respect donor privacy. Donor information will be handled in accordance with our Privacy Policy. We do not sell or rent donor information to third parties.
8. Recurring Donations
If you opt into a recurring donation: Your payment method will be charged automatically at the selected interval. You may cancel recurring donations at any time through your account or by contacting us at contact@mofreepress.org. Changes may take one billing cycle to take effect.
9. Chargebacks & Fraud
Unauthorized chargebacks or payment disputes may result in restrictions on future donations. We reserve the right to dispute chargebacks we believe are fraudulent or unjustified.
10. Modification of Terms
We reserve the right to modify these Terms and Conditions at any time. Changes will be effective immediately upon posting on this website.
11. Limitation of Liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, MOFreePress shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising out of or related to your donation.
12. Governing Law
These Terms and Conditions are governed by the laws of the State of Missouri, without regard to conflict-of-law principles.
